Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village
An open-air museum of Ukrainian pioneer life on the Yellowhead Highway.
About Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village
Historic buildings moved from surrounding communities recreate east-central Alberta's Ukrainian settlements. Costumed interpreters stay in character, speaking as if it were the year their building represents.
A brief history
The village portrays the lives of Ukrainian Canadian settlers between 1899 and 1930, using first-person interpretation for an immersive experience.
